Still being a pretty terrible blogger/nail enthusiast but I did manage to find a super old post that coincided with this week's challenge so here it is!
This mani was done in a rush for my neighbor's baby shower and while I truly enjoy the braided nails look, for the love of polish, don't ever use a sheer base glitter polish for the braid. This mani would have been so much better if I would have just used a solid white as an accent nail. Oh well.

Hey, where did you learn to do the braid, Kat? I've had zero luck making one. I'm always hoping that some talented someone will turn me on to a tutorial of their own making, or one they saw, that will click for me.

ReplyDeleteI gotta disagree with you - I love the way the braid looks! It is perfect that the glitter just peeks out a little. It ties the mani all together. You have so much WOW on the other fingers, that this little bit of glitter on the accent is beautiful. I would not change it at all.

ReplyDeleteI need more Nails Incs in my life. I have only Jubilee 3D Glitter, it's amazing and I love it, but I think it feels a bit alone in that drawer of my Helmer. It needs some little brothers! :D
