Today I finally get to show you the epic haul I did that made me go on a no buy! I've been waiting forever for the stuff I ordered to arrive but the post office that sorts all the mail here has been sucking lately, as said by my mailman, so everything has taken longer. Either way, they're finally here, safe and sound!
For the nails, I'm sporting L'Oreal Rainy Piccadilly which is part of their LE collection out in stores now. It's a deep navy blue, so perfect for fall. Then, because I felt like it and the bottle was right there, I layered Zoya Fei Fei on top. Fei Fei really is beautiful and very unique. Beware though, the flecks will get everywhere and be impossible to remove.
Since I have so many pics to share, I placed them under the jump so let's go! (There was a kids show where they would draw something and be able to jump into it. Maybe Blue's Clues?)
Nails first, haul later. Two coats of Rainy Piccadilly for fall goodness in a bottle. I'm still digging the brighter colors at the moment, but I couldn't pass this one up when I saw it. Very good formula and coverage, and no staining! Plus, it's not so deep that it just looks black.
We're all pretending that little bubble isn't there. That's what's happening. We're also pretending those two pics aren't as similar as they really are. Oopsy.
Then, the magic of Zoya Fei Fei from their Fall 'Diva' collection. It's truly a stunning polish and one that I would recommend getting. I'll probably feature it here alone at some point, but I really liked Rainy Piccadilly as a base for it. Also, I can't stop saying Rainy Piccadilly, love the name.
See that weird thing at my nail tip where the polish looks matte? Yeah that's happening again. I used three different top coats and they all did the same exact thing. So frustrating, has this ever happened to anyone?
BONUS SHOT! I wanted to show you guys my adorable owl ring le boyfriend got for me a ways back. His name is Frederick and, apparently, he doesn't approve or like anything. Such a sourpuss.
Finally, haul time! First, the most impressive shopping trip I ever accomplished at Sally:
Then I have a random drugstore assortment: (You can expect a fast dry top coat review/comp with the Insta Dri topcoat)
Some Essies I found here and there: Boxer Shorts, Stroke of Brilliance, Turquoise and Caicos (finally!), Armed and Ready (I caved after many many times of putting it back)
The Zoyas I ordered when they had a sale: Fei Fei, Wednesday, Zuza, Frida (!!!)
And my order from Ninja Polish: Sticks 'N Stones (!!!) and a-England Saint George
Whew! And this is just part of my untrieds, let's not forget the NYC haul:
So you can see why I needed to start Month(s) of Untrieds and force a NO BUY ANYTHING EVER FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE STOP. Truth be told though, a lot of the polishes I bought were either on sale, I had coupons for it and a couple were gifted so I didn't really spend that much money.
Ok, if you're still here then I want to congratulate you! You deserve a cookie. If there's anything here you would like to see first or compared with something else (that I have) let me know in the comments! It will definitely help me work through them.
Have a good day!
That's a lot of polishes! I love the look of Rainy Piccadilly, I might have to go look for this now even though I really shouldn't buy anymore polishes either!
ReplyDeleteI don't want to break your no/low buy but...DOOO IIITTT :D!
DeleteLOL! I just had a recent Sally's haul as well! I spent arund $30 though. I lost my stupid coupon! I'm only buying for the 100 follower/blogaversary giveaway after my major Walgreens/Sally's hauls last week. No buys are hard!
ReplyDeleteI just used a coupon that someone posted on their blog! I was scared they weren't going to accept it for some reason, but it worked out!
DeleteI was like that for a while too, just buying for the giveaway. It feels nice actually, to buy polish for someone else who will appreciate it as much as I do :)
That is awesome, it just totally changed it to a different color all together! Love the haul! I'm so jealous!
ReplyDeleteIt positively sparkled in the sunlight! Like I said, Fei Fei is really sumfin speshul.
DeleteWow so much polish!
ReplyDeleteLol, I know :\
DeleteDo I actually get a cookie...? Very jealous of your haul there, although you surely have every shade of blue imaginable now!
ReplyDeleteYes, you do get a cookie. I shall send it through your internet provider, make sure to save it! :D
DeleteLol, you'd think so right? It's all you can see looking at the haul pics!
Way to go on the polish haul, it just feels right!!
ReplyDeleteIt does a little bit :D. Don't tell my boyfriend though, he already thinks I'm addicted.
DeleteWhat a great haul and great prices!!!
ReplyDeleteYes! And it's all thanks to Nouveau Cheap making me save my coupons!
DeleteI like the combo you did at the beginning of your post, so gorgeous! The zoya polishes you picked up are all very pretty. I want Wednesday and feifei so badly!
ReplyDeleteI'd been wanting Wednesday for so long even though I knew I had similar colors, it just called to me! I'm happy to report it's even better in person.
DeleteLet's not talk about the magical glass fleck wonder that is FeiFei :P
