Black and White Challenge Day 8 - Sponging

Good morning!

Today we're on day 8 of the Black and White Challenge and that means sponging! Not a lot to say, let's get to the pictures (there's a lot).

As always with these types of posts, you get a preview of the finished product and step by step pics after the jump!

I started with one coat of Finger Paints Winter Sky and sponged on Sally Hansen Whirlwind White (Fun fact: I just found this random bottle at my house, it seems very old and it was all separated and gnarly looking but just some shaking and it's good as new!)

My sad attempt at holding a bottle. Not so bad!

I had meant to do a more random pattern but I don't think its really random... Now, about the cleanup...I was in a hurry so some pics are going to be messy. But I think it might help show how messy it can be, right? Moving on...

Then I added Essie Shine of the Times...

And Sinful Colors Green Ocean

See the iridescent flakies in Green Ocean?! <3

Then stamped with BM-209 and Wet 'N Wild black creme.

Et voila! The stamp didn't transfer so well over the larger flakies in Green Ocean but I loved how it sparkled in the sun and shadow.

As always, remember to check the other ladies' blogs to see their ideas!
